Help please! For summer, I want to go either/or these two routes:
-Study for SAT Reasoning (to take third time) AND SAT II Literature
-Study for SAT Math Level 2 (to take third time) AND SAT II Literature
-Or if I'm super crazy, study hardy for all three (parent's wishes)

Unless you have the gift of an American passport. I’m Korean as well and I suggest you retake Math II, take SAT II Literature, and retake SAT I (if you aren’t American).

Well, all the colleges you listed accept score choice, so you can take how many SATs you want.

Since you are Korean-American, the 750 in Korean won’t really have much weight (colleges do tell you not to take SATIIs in your first language).

Take the SATs again, if you feel like it will help your profile substantially.

Since you want to be an English major, take Lit and MathII in November (study for the month between the Oct SAT and the Nov SATII?)

I would suggest retaking the SAT (the third time really worked its charm…I jumped almost 100 points, which really makes a difference) and studying hard for SAT 2 Lit because with the major you are interested in, the SAT 2 Math score you have is already good enough. Not worth spending money to retake a 3rd time.

SAT Reasoning is more important and Lit would also be for you (but I’ve heard it’s kind of difficult, so don’t “wing it” the day of.)

Good luck with college applications! I’m in the same boat.

I’m not in the same boat at all but i’d say retake sat ii lit and sat reasoning for sure, but also retake the math II. Don’t study for the math II, just wing it. Trust me, if you wing it you’ll be under less pressure and likely to score higher. Math is the only subject I recommend “winging.”

no
UCs do not do score choice last time I checked. And yeah, you have probably already noticed by now but you need to brush up your SAT2 scores if you want to seriously consider UCB and UCLA. That 750 in Korean won’t help as they can probably identify you are korean even if you don’t report your race (as the admission ppl are familiar with stereotypical last names from each race).
