So is this soph year courseload going to knock anyone's socks off?

I applied for transfer to a bunch of schools and got acceptances so far. Due to finances however, I cannot matriculate into my top choices(esp. cornell) for fall 2010 and spring 2011. i'm hoping for a waitlist from upenn/columbia/chicago (my top top top choices) because my chances for acceptance seem kind of bleak (low transfer rates....). I've resigned myself to spending another year at my honors program. This is what I registered for:

200 level bio Cell Bio 1
300 level math Abstract Algebra II
200 level Psych
100 level Gen Physics 1(noncalculus based...1 math class is enough)
upper level English class(honors,writing intensive,etc.)
300 level Anthropology class
Total:18 credits

Essentially, most of my classes are upper division. I was thinking of swapping physics 1 for Biochemistry(the one that comes after orgo in my chem dept.) because its more advanced, but i dont know if i'd be able to handle it. the above schedule lets me work/intern 3 days a week and have only 1 night class, although they are mostly back to back.

I am doing pretty well in this semester (all As/A+s), so assuming I keep up the grades, is this a schedule that would knock the columbia psychobiology department's socks off? or does rigor of courseload not matter as much as grades do? because I am slightly worried about physics (worst subject ever for me...shudders).

Thoughts?

Rigor always matters.

And plz take calculus based physics. Derivatives and Integrals don’t make your life more difficult (especially since you’re taking abstract algebra, ***), they make it easier. You don’t want to assess limits at every damn point if you know how to do calc.

Best of luck though.
