So, is tomorrow going to be the day?

I don’t really see any reason to assume it’ll be tomorrow.

man… maybe i shouldnt have told you guys. she posted it on facebook. I really dont know why she would lie about it.

Cuz she a UCLA Poser!

j/k

gets angry mob face ready!

Before Friday? That probably means Friday @ 4pm or whatever. I think the admissions counselor was referring to it will all be over by Friday.

maybe she got into the TFT thing?

I am serious. I am not joking or lying or whatever. What do I have to gain from lying? I am still PENDING. -_____-"

But I can tell you that she didn’t lie to me about her acceptance. She even encourage me to check mine then-instant on her computer.

@ iambeowolf

This could be the only reason I could think of as well…most probably a TFT major, if it’s not a lie

Since we are all waiting, maybe someone can help me answer this question. Since I went to the University of Arizona last year and am studying at a California Community College this year, do I need to complete all my pre-reqs? Obviously I have not completed all my pre-reqs for UCLA because I have only had one year of transferable courses, but will I automatically be denied because my lack of pre-reqs? I mean, I have my IGETC complete but am missing a calculus course and statistics course. I was missing the same ones for San Diego and Barbara but got accepted to both of those schools. I have a good GPA (4.0 @ CC, 3.6 @ Arizona = 3.88 Overall) and good ECs.

seriously… i have nothing to gain from lying either. ill go check if she got in for TFT

@lustrous

depends if your major is impacted or not, i think

@mkcman - What does that mean? I applied for Econ, so that is probably an impacted major, if I had to guess.

@ Lustrous

yeah…econ = impacted major

if you don’t have the prereq you are most likely done for

Sorry :(

I hope you get in tho :)…btw i applied for bus. econ

Ahh thats too bad. Kinda strange, but I know people who went from Arizona to Berkeley last year as a Sophomore, and people on these boards are saying you can only be accepted as a Junior.

^
Hmm…maybe they took a bunch of summer classes/had a ton of AP credit

@lustrous

i was always told that impacted majors MUST have prereqs met. and if you’re only 1 year in CA, probably not TAP, right? so no alt major? check this for future reference…all the asterisked majors are impacted…

Yes, but I went to a different University before. I have 60+ credits done, just only half of them are CC. And I mean I was missing tons of pre-reqs for UCSB and UCSD, but got accepted, even though my CC Admission Counselor said there is no way I could be accepted, lol.

@ Lustrous

That’s great that you got into SB and SD, but UCLA is sadly a whole different ball game due to the whole impacted major thing…It would be pretty legit to be like “yeah i was missing a pre-req, did part of my studies in a different state, and still got into an impacted major at UCLA” though

Haha, ohh well. I’ll keep up hope anyways, and if not, well I’m a USC guy =)

i’ve seen stranger things happen i guess. best of luck. although i think you screwed the karma pooch with the USC comment
