so....it's almost sept..3rd...

I'm doing OA...and I'm not sure what to do once I arrive on campus...
i know that check-in is at 3 for OA...but before that what do I do??

housing check in
normally they sent you a map where it shows the place you have to check in at

Is this the same housing check-in where we should bring the I-9 forms? Does this mean that we don't need to check-in on the 10th?

Yeah, we go to Baker Rink and check in. Then I guess we wait 'til the big OA check-in at 3. I'm pretty sure we're checking in as in...checking in checking in on Saturday, so have all your forms ready just in case.

when you show up for OA, you check in to housing (get your key), drop off your stuff in your room, then check into OA. after you get back from OA, you check in to the university on the 10th. that's when you need most of your forms/papers.

US citizens need no forms/papers, right?

I-9s are required from everyone.

Oooh ok panic is the I-9 something that Pton sent to me (I got a call saying two packages had not been delivered and had been returned to them)? Or is it something I need to pick up from somewhere?

they sent it in the mail, along with the fin. aid package if u received any.

no wait, my bad, they sent it with the job description if ur doing study/work. yay for dining services

ah ok so if I'm not doing study-work this year, do I still need it?

MMmm, I'm not sure if the I9 is specifically for students working at college, but i would bring it just in case you want to work somewhere outside of school. sorry, i really not sure

I'd bring the I-9, if only for the fact that a great opportunity may arise even if you currently do not intend to work. I9's are required by all employers so it may be beneficial to bring it. (However, im sure you can find one online if need be)

ah ok, cool. Thanks everyone.

the I9 says you have to bring it even if you're not going to be working, mea.

Thanks axel : )
