Tomorrow no school for me so I am visiting two of my schools Sweet Briar and Guilford for their special visiting days. However, my mom just told me I have a interview at Guilford tomorrow at 12:30 even though the visiting day is Saturday.
I have done one interview at Goucher but it was very informal and not a standard one, what should I expect? Also, any last minute tips?
Also, I have a interview at Sweet Briar but it a day or more later (not freaking out yet)

Not gonna lie.. I never did an interview. So the following is an anthology, if you will, of what I've heard from others.

a) Know yourself - be able to let them know why Misty_Rain217 would be an asset to their institution, and why you are qualified for admission.
b) Be yourself - prove that you are what you say you are.
c) Express your enthusiasm - let them know that their institution is numero uno in your book, for whatever reason.
d) Bring questions - your interviewer will probably ask, "do you have any questions for me," so it's great to make ostensibly premeditated inquiries.

Good luck!

be yourself and don't use "like" or "um" - otherwise they might think you are inept or incompetent.

Thanks for the response bantamboy

AngelFidelis-I found your comment to be not that useful, I feel that it is personal attack due to the title of this thread, I was just trying to make a joke and get some responses. Again if this sounds jerky or overly sensitive but I had to wake up at 3:00 am to get to Guilford so I am still cranky.

The interview went well! It was also very informal in general just like Goucher. I know I am not applying to Ivy League schools so it is not as stressful but still I feel better. Tomorrow I am going to the Guilford Open House and my interviewee told me that my application that I sent in a few weeks ago is going through a final review. She said tomorrow she might be able to tell me if I was accepted/rejected!
At the same time this is good news but it is nerve-racking! My dad says if they do not tell me tomorrow I was probably rejected and they do not want to tell me in person. I would feel better about this if I got some response to my chances post, maybe I will make another posting tonight and see just my chances to Guilford.
Please cross your fingers for me-all that are out there in cyberspace!
