Yeah my stats are pretty bad, probably only good enough for the lower tier UC's. I still have senior year left do something, but anyway my parents told me if I don't get into something better than UCR then I'm going to a CC since it's not worth it to even go there then. I kinda agree anyway, might as well transfer out to somewhere better instead. So I guess UCI is the next school higher than UCR and it's the closest to me.....

So like what do I need to get in? I'm in state, asian indian, male, high income. weighted GPA is probably around a 3.6 or something? sat's scores are atrocious, something like 1750? if someone tells me a score that I would need to get into UCI and it sounds feasible, I'll probably retake even though I didn't study for it at all this summer.

Ok, two things before you write off UCI. First, is that weighted GPA a weighted UC GPA? A lot can change if you take off the grades from freshman year and weigh it according to the school. Second, you can totally retake your SATs. Irvine's average is 18xx, which is something you're very close to. If you manage a 2000 you could potentially offset your low GPA. Don't give up hope yet, especially when you still have chances to take standardized tests (including the somewhat easier ACT).

lol looking for a sign of hope? You should see my stats when I got in haha I seriously think it was my personal statements and e.c.s that helped boost me the extra way and into UCI
