Hey fellow members, new member here!

Just a simple question. So like...what about those community services?

What's the best way to earn them? Easiest way? How many hours do you guys recommend? Help!

i wasn't aware that you earn community service(s). community service consists of ANYTHING that gives back to the community/makes it a better place. as far as the amount of time you dedicate to helping your community, it's one of those things you can't put a number on. community service is something that you should do because it is enjoyable and rewarding. so like...what about those community services? it's all up to you!

To get my community service hours, I'll be tutoring English classes this summer. I'm also going to be volunteering at a local state historic site. All in all, I hope to have about 250 community service hours by the time I graduate. 150 down already!

I'm volunteering at a local hospital, and should have close to 400 by the time I'm applying to colleges. If you like (or at least don't mind) children, you could check your local Junior Achievement chapter: Junior Achievement - Educating youth on business, economics, and succeeding in a global economy Most do it twice a year (you teach a K, 1st, or 2nd grade class for a day. They give you the curriculum and everything so it's super easy).
