I always thought I wanted to do something government-y (an embassy would've been ideal), but after my older brother had a few seizures, I'm thinking more along the lines of neurologist.
How about y'all? Have you known what you wanted to be since you were mere fetuses (feti?), or are you going to flip-flop your career decisions on a weekly basis?

I’ve always wanted to work in the medical field since I was very little, and hope to be an anesthesiologist, psychiatrist, surgeon, etc. Although, a job as a businesswoman or a lawyer interests me as well.
But who knows? This will probably change when I’ve fully gone through high school.

Theoretical physicist xD

Filmmaker! Yeah I know, I’m screwed ;)

@yale925, so… basically everything then? haha you sound just like me tbh. One of my parents is an anesthesiologist, though, and that’s a pretty cool job.

@triangles314, Uhm I’d rather hug a rabid bear than spend an hour as a theoretical physicist, but hats off to you for having such a great goal! :)

@cc20148, that’s cool! Any specific kind? Documentaries, dramas…?

@triangles314, you can be another Sheldon Cooper!

@marshmallowpop In the ideal situation, I’d like to write & direct dramas.

@cc20148, when you make it big, send a shoutout to CC, so we know it’s you :)

@marshmallowpop I’ll make sure to! Good luck on the neurology path, that’s gonna be a tough one.

@cc20148 Thank you! we’ll see how that goes I’m still a more liberal artsy person than a medical track person, but knowing myself I could do a complete 360 by college.

Sports broadcasting or analyst. Something similar to Colin Cowherd, but this isn’t likely because I’d have to major in communications and there’s almost no market for that degree.

If I could have any job, I’d probably want to be a botanist because I really love plants/nature. But since there aren’t too many jobs in that field, I’m probably going to go into environmental engineering because it’s also focused on nature and there seems to be more employment opportunities.

Used to want to be a doctor/astronaut, but now I’m thinking along the lines of an international businessman. Although I’m not sure my parents will want to hear that!

Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

History teacher.

Since that market is way too saturated, and since accounting is off-limits (According to my parents), I’d go into business analytics, the guys who brought you “People who liked _____ also searched for_____”

Meteorologist, general manager of a professional sports team (or some position in the front office), or sports analyst on ESPN, MLB Network, etc.

not poor

no but seriously, i want to go into scientific research

College professor, but the academia job market seems way too competitive and depressing to even bother with. My current pipe dream involves getting a Ph.D. in math and working outside of academia. I think it would be fun to teach at a prep school.

Alwayswoderines- I would love to do research as well!

Right now I am set on something in medicine, maybe pediatrics. But I’m also very interested in evolutionary psychology. But where are the jobs in that?

We’ll see where my heart takes me. :)

Broadcast Journalist, the wife of a very wealthy man, and/or Politician.

I could type on a computer all day, so something to do with Technology. :)
