wow, so many ppl r retaking their sat IIs that now i'm considering retaking mine too. for ppl who have already retaken, did your score actually go up? what did u do differently to prepare? for ppl who r planning to retake, how much of an increase are u shooting for?

I had the most horrible hist teacher this yr! we did absolutely nothining in his class all yr ( he ended up getting fired, and we got a new teacher one week before i took the sat II hist). basically i learned everything on my own and got a 730. i just don't know if its worth retaking since i'm taking the sat I in june, and the next chance i have is oct. i'm afraid that'll i'll score even lower. should I?

math is SO easy. definitely retake... i got 400 cuz i was sick. (and no that's not a excuse... brochitis and pneumonia at the same time!! it was NOT fun) .. retook and got perfect 800 on math 2c, even on a small cold... OH YEAH!!! go me... so retake it! good luck

^ Is a troll, just letting people know not to listen to this person. And some of you DO struggle in math, and that is FINE. Math is not "SO easy", some of you are better in one subject then another.

I think I'm going to retake my 710 in Chemistry. I was so busy studying for APs that week that I didn't really prep enough, but I should have plenty of time this summer to go back and look things over.

blue, I had a crappy history teacher this year too and I learned everything by reading REA for AP in the days before the test. I think it paid off for me: 790 History. You should look into it. All of the good AP review guides should be overkill for the SAT if you sit down and read them (AMSCO and REA especially.)

Next year in AP economics is going to suck even more for me; the teacher is green--it will be her second year teaching--and she's going to be gone for at least the first quarter on maternity leave!!
