so my dad just graduated UVA... do my chances go up?

My dad just got his masters from UVA in education through a lot of online teaching and night school.

sophmore... and in-state
I have an UW 3.8 gpa. W- 4.1. (Top 5% in school.)
community service a go-go (20 hours a month)
National Honor Society
VP of Young Democrats
A soon to be summer inernship over at the FBI academy in Quantico
Catholic Youth Ministry
Field Hockey Manger
Thespian Society Member and active in school plays
AP and Honors Student

I don't take my SAT's for another couple of months...
but I rank in the top 2% when it comes to standardized tests.

Think I'm on the right track to getting in?

No, legacy status only improves chances for out-of-state applicants. My advice is to maintain your current GPA and score in the 2000+ range on the SAT, and you should be a lock for UVA.

I doubt you'll need legacy help, in-state, with those stats.

Thank you. You helped calm down a lot of worrying. I just hope Algebra II doesn't kill me...
