So my SSAT scores are kinda bad....

I got in the 93 percentile overall.

97% Reading
90% Verbal
67% Math.

It's so odd because I felt that the math was the easiest section of the test. I''m also taking advanced math and passing with a 93% semseter average. Will these score hurt my chance if I am applying to Emma Willard, Deerfield, and Exeter?

I'm also applying as an underrepresented ethnicity. (My dad is African). I have held a 4.0 GPA since freshmen year in the Pre IB program. I'm applying for the 11th grade. Plus lots of volunteer work. So do you think that my low math score will harm my chance/ Thanks!

The low math score will have some effect on your chances on some levels. However, you must remember that SSAT score isn’t everything. Your overall SSAT score, GPA, ECs are great, I don’t know how good is your application and recommendation letters but I bet they’re good as well. So don’t worry too much. And if you are still unsure, you can send them your previous scores (with the Math score being higher of course) and write an email telling the school about what’s happened during the Math section (like an excuse).
Hope that helps

Your overall score is a 93. Don’t sweat over it.
