So Nervous!

I wonder if I could get into any of these eight schools:
Earlham, Harvard, NYU, Vassar, Wellesley, Wesleyan, Yale, or Columbia

I have a 3.7 GPA
I took all AP/IB courses
SAT: 1550
Viola-8 years
Dance-15 years
Went to a competitive east coast boarding school
Have gone to summer programs at Yale since freshmen year

raise tha
GPA a little and you will have a real good shot but as of now
earlham match
harvard reach
nyu match
vassar match
wellesley match
yale reach
columbia reach/match

We need more information for Harvard, Yale, and Columbia.

NYU and Earlham, I'd expect you to be admitted to. Vassar, Wellesly, and Wesleyan, I don't know a whole lot about.

Joey

Her GPA is fine coming from a good boarding school.

Yeah, that's a great GPA from a strong school.

Vassar, etc. are practically safeties.

Yeah, seriously. All safeties, match/reach with Columbia, Harvard and Yale realistic reach. You might want to add Brown, Penn, etc in the mix as more match/reaches.

I don't think that Wesleyan or Vassar are safeties, although she does have a strong chance at both. There is a 40:60 male:female ratio at Vassar, and most LACs are similar. Therefore, women need higher stats than men at many LACs.

I wish people would list match and reach in my thread like they did here. I had a few do it but not many.

I hope you get into those colleges because I'm kinda the same as you. Higher GPA but I play music and all that like you.

Thanks so much. Do you think that boarding school really matters at all? Do you know of any other good schools that have majors in International Relations, being that is what I want to major in?

I think Vassar is a safety still. IRL is great at Georgetown.
