<p>Some candidates who are National Merit Scholars and were invited for the Presidential may have decided to accept that scholarship and save the cost of the trip. I have no idea how many scholarships are awarded to Marshall incoming freshmen.</p>
<p>My son will probably go there but we could so use the extra money! Does anyone have any tips how to get bumped up to trustee??? He felt he had a terrific interview. Anything he could possibly do now??? It will all probably come down to money and Im sure he will get into a lot of great schools but USC would be his number one</p>
<p>We were told that about half of the attendees would get the scholarship they were applying for, so just getting the Presidential would be a win. But I agreee, getting bumped up to Trustee would make it a lot easier to send my D.</p>
