anybody here apply to all regular decision (no rolling) schools, and really, really hating being in limbo? i'm sick of hearing everybody saying..."oh, i've heard back from school x, and y, and z, and i got in to all of them!" i'm fully expecting to get in to most of my schools, but...ugh.
any idea if they always wait until the march deadline to issue letters? for block admission, that is, not rolling.
thanks!
and yes, my profuse apologies, that was indeed a rant...i shall not do it again.

Hang tight zel17. This too shall pass! :)

I only applied to two rolling and the rest regular- the reason I waited so long is because I was waiting to hear back from my ED school and wound up getting rejected. But my point is that I haven't heard from anywhere yet, not even the rolling.

I know how you feel. It's a long haul until mid march-april, and I'm constantly worrying.

april is the time i get out of school! :D

What?? Is it normal to receive decisions at varying times during RD non rolling?? I thought all colleges make decisions available on a certain date.

some non roll RD schools send out their decisions mid march, most on april first.

yep all 9 of my schools won't let me know until march-april. ahhhhh!!! =0

Gah, I'm totally with you guys! My friend and I have been distressing over the fact that April will probably be the worst month of our lives, what with all the rejection letters we're afraid of receiving. At least one of my safety schools is going to contact me about their decision within the next month, so I'll know that I'll be SOMEWHERE next year. :P

haha, that's why I'm soo thankful for CC. if I hadn't found this site I wouldn't have known to apply EA and I would still be finishing apps!
good luck to everyone still waiting!

There's no place like Marina del Rey, CA, huh?

I'm in the same situation, and it's killing me. It's not even that I'm nervous about decisions (I like all my schools, and I'm sure I'll get in somewhere)... I just hate that we're left hanging for three months and have to go about life as usual pretending that we care about our work when really all we want to do is go to college already.

^ I totally agree.

i remember those days....

i was in a bad mood for like 4 months...

I'm the complete opposite. All my schools are rolling except the UC's.

Yeah. Exactly.

I find out from all 9 by mid Feb :)

I completely agree with all aforementioned comments :)

But hang tight, guys - January is almost over, then it'll be Feb, then March (ah yes, the long month of no holidays or vacations whatsoever... for me atleast), and then APRIL!
