so...RETEST, anyone?

When's the best time to take the SAT/ACT to get the highest percentiles? I would think that during unpopular months (May?) would give you a greater advantage over the more popular months, like June and October.

Also, since I'm more scientifically inclined, would it be better for me to take the ACT? I've only taken the SAT once (ugh...I'd prefer not to talk about it...). I'm hesitant on switching to the ACT because I'm already used to the format and types of ques. on the SAT, and "converting" to the ACT would mean additional prep work.

According to another post, May is probably one of the most popular months.

Take it in June, then you have a week to catch up on sleep after school gets out before you take it. That has to be an advantage.

At least that's what I'm doing, but SAT IIs are in May. MAy won't be too rough, unless you are worn out from APs

may has aps man :( so i'm reatking them in june..... i am so dissapointed with my scores that i didn't even post them lol

i'm taking the sat ii's in june (math ii, chem, fr.), and aps in may...
i'm scared that i won't get an opportunity to retest!! is the oct. one too late for Early Decision?

June for SATII's... before I forget everything lol.

Retake SATI in Oct. (Summer study!) Finish up SATII's in November...?

I don't think the October one will be too late for Early Action/Decision because the deadline for EA/ED is usually 11/1 at the earliest. You might want to check up on your prospective colleges to see what their deadlines are.
