“Does that mean they raise their standards to non-tag students or are you judged regularly with the other cc applicants just without a tag?”

Non-TAG students are the same as ‘regular’ students. So, that being said, you will be thrown in the applicant pool with all of the other non-TAG students. And yes, there’s nothing you can do, because you can’t magically get that english class done in two weeks (by the end of fall). Sorry man, but good luck!

well I guess it’s not SOO bad-
I mean at least we’re cc transfers and not UC transfers or the dreaded–oos transfers! (which I almost was haha)
So, that said, we still had a leg up darnit!

TAG is by no means a requirement… if you are a strong candidate (meaning you have a good gpa w/ igetc complete at time of transfer) there is nothing to worry about, you’ll be accepted to at least one of those universities (if not all those universities).

i’m just mad b/c moorpark told me that b/c i was going to their CC i couldn’t tag (direct quote) i think they’re ■■■■■■■!!! but that’s just me…haha
i was only one class away from tagging
oh well
april will tell!

I wasn’t TAG or honors of any of that is and I’m in UCLA (transferred from Moorpark too!), so don’t sweat it. REALLY. GPA and IGETC completion is where it’s at.
