So since bush won this year

Hey so since Bush won this year does that mean Al Gore becomes president?

No offense, but is that a joke?

No I think he/she is dead serious. You must be a Bush voter....

u guys its a joke...lol my bad

No, what it means is that not enough college age kids voted.

this is a JOKEee!!

We know. aaannndddd END SCENE.

I found it amusing when the Democrats were banking on younger voters to sway the election but they didn't! Only 17% both times, LOL!

Can you people not get over it?!? Can't you just admit you lost and go on with your lives?...no, of course not...you have to find some tiny piece of information that you can twist around into making a issue out of something that really doesn't exist...I give up...no matter if Bush won 538 electoral votes, and 99.9% of the popular vote, you'd still be complaining how Bush cheated his way to the presidency.

LOL! Gotta love just how apathetic our generation is, ROFL! 17% is awesome! Let's go make babies, LOL!

(Just kidding, Athlon. Especially about the babies part. I'm just in one of those bad moods, y'know, the kind that only liberals can be in, where the only remedy is to go officiate at several gay marriages, set fire to some SUVs, and then go steal some rifles from law-abiding citizens. And I'm not even that much of a liberal :P)

Oh, and Vancat?

P. Diddy heard that. He is all-knowing. And unforgiving. Watch yo back, foo.

From what I have heard, 17% of the people who voted in this election were between the ages of 18 and 25. Something like 30% of 18 to 25 year-olds voted on Tuesday.

A lot more younger voters voted in this election!...the 17% stayed the same, but that's because there was an increase in the number of voters from the other age groups as well. If younger voters had turned out in the same numbers as they have in past elections their percentage would have been much less and Bush would have won by a greater margin...Believe it or not, the young voters were less apathetic this election, although their importance is not obvious from the statistics.

Enjoy!

It's a good thing he won by 136,483 (...or I guess I mean 132,590...) votes, then.

"Can you people not get over it?!?
I'll admit the Bush probably won fairly...this time. But that doesn't mean that the 48% of voters who didn't support his first fair term should be celebrating for the success of the right-wing. This country is getting steadily more conservative, and that scares some people.
