<p>From where? I grew up near Polson, on Flathead Lake...</p>
<p>My D just applied to UM Missoula. We visited last month and it was gorgeous.</p>
<p>I'm not but my little brother is - floating around somewhere in the math and chemistry departments. My grandfather used to teach there in the art department, so I've been on campus a lot.</p>
<p>What is she applying for?</p>
<p>She's undecided, but most likely English lit or creative writing with lots of studio art thrown in. She really needs to be in the honors college though since she's only had a 3 non-honors or AP classes in high school.</p>
<p>I've been told that studio art is a strong program there (obviously biased opinion).</p>
<p>Would like to hear more about the Artt Dept.</p>
