<p>I was in Madiosn a few days this weekend and my hotel was filled with folks in strange outfits--at least to me.
The newspaper did a nice piece trying to explain this group. Nice people and not too rowdy.</p>

<p>I read the article in the paper - ‘steampunk’ - you learn something new everyday! Recognized the name of someone I know who was quoted in the article - last I heard she was into Medieval/Renaissance re-enactments - moved on now to steampunk.</p>
<p>As usual I get back to Seattle and a local free arts magazine has a story on Steampunk too. Actually it looks kind of fun so long as you know it’s just for fun. They had no problems getting on their cell phones and using digital cameras, etc.</p>
