I called NC today to ask them why my ACT scores haven't been filed even though I sent them 4 weeks ago, and they said they never received them. So I called ACT, and they said they sent them, they even pulled up my account and everything. So then I had to contact UNC's tech dept, and they still maintain that they never got them (even though they were sent electronically, and every other school received them). So now I'm 1 month past the EA deadline with no ACT. Great.

I believe something similar happened with my D two years ago, but with her SAT scores. College Board said they sent them; UNC said they didn't get them. My D had emailed UNC to tell them College Board had sent them, and she had an email response from UNC saying they hadn't gotten the scores, so she forwarded UNC's email to College Board, who then rushed the scores no charge. A few days later, her scores showed up on the UNC admissions site -- in duplicate. Have you called the ACT people back and told them UNC didn't get them? They might be willing to send them electronically today. I'd certainly try that and get as assertive as necessary. Perhaps your GC can call on your behalf if you don't get results when you try.
