so, today i received nothing from NYU in my mail.why?

<p>i live in NY. i already got an invitation to the saturday reception thing.
but i still didn't get an official acceptance letter.</p>

<p>that's weird. my friends and i got ours yesterday. (we live in ny too.) maybe it went to the wrong person? try calling the adimission office.</p>

<p>My son got the Tisch Sat. Invite also. Don't worry. We are in Ca and still no package either, the invite means your'e in. The mail takes what it takes.</p>

<p>i think they were sent out on the same day.
only difference is the size of the letter/packet i think.</p>

<p>In the past, rejections went out later than acceptances. Not that this means those who haven't heard yet didn't get in but that's the way it happened in previous years. Also haven't seen any posts here about rejection letters.</p>

<p>well, I got the Sat @ the Square invite...and I even got selected for the Tisch Scholars Program, and I've yet to receive anything... its gotta be the mail...or whatever, im so anxious to see my fin aid package...</p>

<p>I just rushed home from a long day at work expecting to find my NYU decision letter in the mail, but I found NOTHING!!!!! DO they send out emails too? if so when?</p>

<p>ny and nyu suck. I received the invite telling me that I had an heop interview on the 28th of march. The invite came to me on the first :/</p>

<p>I think I will most probably find out from nyu then on monday.</p>

<p>!!!! NYU SUCKS at this deadline thing!!! My friend got in a bad financial aid problem last year because she didn't receive the information until the day everything was due!</p>

<p>Call them monday and ask them to reschedule you--it wasn't your fault you didn't make it.</p>
