it has no messages..still nothing..

Anyone up to calling that second number to ask? lol

i'm waiting on my decision too

servers are broken. yay!

Okay, you guys can confirm this with your counselors, too, but my college counselor made a schoolwide announcement that the reason why this admissions notices thing is taking long is because of our dearly beloved Governator. Why? His "brilliant" budget cutbacks and such basically affected the number of people who are reviewing applications for UCs and I have a strong feeling that UCSD was strongly affected. And we can see that, too, for the other UCs that have both notified students and not notified students. Hence, the rolling admissions notices.

State educators didn't know what they were in for when they supported Schwarzenegger and now that they're seeing what his office is doing to their students and to them (anyone remember that newsreport on "broken promises"?), they're definitely seeing red...

Booo to Ah-nold.

Of course they're seeing red, he's Republican. (Sorry, I couldn't resist the cheap pun).

you know this is frankly becoming annoying. I honestly don't really care about UCSD, i just want to know if i get in. My chances are very good since i got into UCLA, but even if i don't get in i just want to see already. WHY THE HELL CAN'T THEY JUST FREAKIN PUT EM ONLINE im dying here.

UCSD strongly affected?? How about UCI strongly affected?!?

lol... i'm waiting on both of them!!!

I feel your pain, mrlemongo. I also don't really care about UCSD and was also accepted to UCLA, but I'm still antsy. We're about two weeks away from finding out about most private colleges, and the fact that most UCs other than Berkeley have already posted their decisions makes the waiting for San Diego to get their act together even worse.

coolman25 ---> LOL! yeah, can you tell my bias was more towards UCSD?

all of the UCs must have been impacted some way, too. I just find it unsettling that UCLA posted theirs before UCSD and correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't it been the other way around for the most part in the past?

Grr... I hate this waiting period, too. I share the same sentiments, y'all. I just wanna know if I got in so I can start narrowing down my colleges.

march 21, 2005 ? can anyone confirm that?

I already know which colleges I'll choose over the others...

Take the US News rankings except swap Davis and UCI.

The governator is ruining California, but hey, he's cool and I would've voted for him even if I knew California would be ruined by him. Though Gray Davis did do one thing right which was lowering the gambling age to eighteen. lol

"A man like me doesn't belong in politics. They say you should do what you know best and what I know best is good fried chicken" (from Undercover Brother)

Surrender Colonel cause here comes the General! (my favorite line from the movie)

from what ive heard

they should by up by tomorrow, and if not, then the 21st

ive already gotten in LA so ill probably go there but i still wanna know if i got into SD =)

ditto, diablo. : )

i hate the waiting... why couldn't tehy be like "log in on X date and you will know whether you were excepted in this college" it would be so simple

Too much waiting...... it already took them 3 months just to update my December SAT scores, whereas UCI was almost instantaneous. :bleh:

any chance it'll be up at 12:01 tonight? what do you guys think?

nah
go to bed

nah dam dont u have any patience come on juicy just check tomorrow

i think they should be up tommorow i dont really see the point in waiting a weekend to post them doesnt really make any sense...but hey good luck to you all i know ill need it!!!!! :P
