So... uhh... Who else still has yet to apply to most of their schools?

I've now submitted ~three~ full applications!

And two more supplements but not the CommonApp yet. :/

Good job!

My Harvard/Yale essay is nearing completion! About 50 words left until 500...

Yay, congrats! But you're already in at MIT, sooo...!

I've got to finish this one CommonApp essay, then I can submit Brown and JHU, but I've got 300 words and major writer's block.

Woot, Williams is finished and in.

Harvard/Yale needs a new ending and I'm DONE!!!

I finished 6 so far (HYPDukePomonaRice) and just have Stanford to finish (omg 3 essays =[)

Five in!

Four to go!

three. and. a. half. more.

I did WORK today. Submitted, Penn, Columbia, and Cornell.

Stanford and MIT to go. and about 72 hours, i think.

Sounds fun, guys. I was procrastinating on Princeton and Stanford (I submitted Common App, Cornell, and CMU 12/16), but I did them last night. Feels good to get that off my shoulders. Good luck to the rest of you, and hoping for good news in March/April for all of us.

Finished Christmas morning. =]

To those who are working on Stanford's: Yeah, it's three essays. But I found them to be extremely fun to write. It's like I can actually express who I am and what I'm interested in without going through a major writer's block.

Finally finished all of them! Now I just have to polish all of them and find people to read them

finally finished!

I don't really know much about college app. only Prep School app. But I would EA/ED app. to my top choice but in the mean time do all I can to get app. together by the time they send decision back; depending on the response I would send the app. for other schools in or not.

I will definitely use a EA/ED system but due to the fact that for a lot of schools you are required to go if you get in... That being said a lot of people cannot afford the price without FA and cannot guarantee that they go (thus the higher % acceptance rate).

Just my thoughts.

^^you can get out of a binding agreement if you cannot afford it. most ivies and top colleges have generous financial aid packages even in this recession. the rate is higher but many legacies and athletes create a perception of easier admits

LOL - yay, I've done all my applications except for Georgetown (which, um, was due last Saturday, but they extended it to today, and THEN when I woke up from my nap [srs procrastination, huh], I saw that it's been extended to tomorrow!, so no big deal at all.) WOOHOOOO. I so so so so want to be done with applications.. bah.

i've submitted all mine but i ran out of time on a couple. they were sub-par to say the least.

you're screwed. good luck

Lol, wut? Tis a rather old thread, lol.

And my mum's making me do the silly presidential scholars thing, so technically I still have another bloody app to do! And just when I thought I was finished... :[

^Aw, lol, you might as well just pretend to "miss" the deadline, what with your lack of leadership ;]

Fkkk mit.
10fcking char.
