Is this true?

I hope so, i wouldn't like to wait a few weeks more!

They sent out emails to international applicants in the ED round, so there is definitely a strong possibility!

yes they are gonna do that.. its final...

SM

i thought princeton didn't send out emails.
i had to wait ten days after April 1st before finally getting the letter

nop u can request an email decision. two weeks till we get it...wow..so close

well.. as of what i knw all students who are by citizenship internations in application will be sent out email decisions like as in ED .. This is the response frm pton after last yrs problems with intels decision timings.. so well expect the shocket in the E mailbox rather than the one outside your house.,

Hey, Jay, what do you mean "u can request an email decision." I'm just wondering whether one has to specify to the admissions office that one wants to be notified by email or if email will be Princeton's default medium of communication with international students.

in ED we had to let them know that we were international applicants and wanted to be notified by email.

Right, so I'm already getting nervous, which is bad news considering I have an Economics Exam on the 21st...

You guys are so lucky that you actually have the email option this year! the agony over my princeton decision almost killed me last year - the dhl people lost my package, making me think that i was rejected...i didn't find out about mt acceptance until april 16!!

so how could you find out about your acceptance? You asked the adcom? ;)

I don't mean to be a grammar dog, but it's "we internationals", not "us internationals".

Yes, in the ED round the internationals were the first to be notified, due to e-mail. Good luck to all!

If you want your decision via email then you should contact admissions and notify them. I didn't ask for an email notification in the ED round and I didn't get an email notification. :)

Ok i just sent them an email.... now its hoping for the best!

hopefully it turns out just as good for us as it did for you Kjoodles!

:) :) :)

well i have disptached my email too .. not that there is a doubt on it.. but i dont wanna take any chances.. and i am ready to see either of the decision in the mailbox..lets c..

SM

does this include canada?

Does anyone know at what time the e-mail will be sent?

What about international students in the U.S.? I mean a student who studies in U.S. under a non-immigrant visa (like J-2)?

i dont think they count coz well .. they are doing emails for intels coz of primarily delay in decisions and if u r in US that factor is obviously absent..

SM

By "request an email decision" do you guys mean sending them an email asking them to send me an email or do you guys mean calling the admission office?
I'm afraid emails may not be read. Any experiences on this?
