i am going to be a high school senior and have begun the college search!
i want to be a physicians assitant which REALLY narrows down the amount of schools i will apply to
i am looking at drexel, qunnipiac, seton hall, and wagner
i have about a 3.9 average (this as an approximation i could be a little lower)
i am around the top 10% of my class of about 600 students
i have test anxiety so my sat's are not great but i got 570 math 570 english and 430 writing (english is NOT my strong point)
my acts where a 23 with very high reading and science
iv only taken the sat II's in us history and i got a 700
iv taken ap us and all honors courses (with the exception of english)
iv taken a full course load and iv never even had a lunch peiod or a study hall.
im in ny so iv taken and passed all the requied regents for an advanced regetns diploma

id really like to know my chances at drexel and qunnipiac
thanks!

Why not at least be a nurse? It sounds like you've worked hard. Do you really want to live on the salary of a doctor's assistant? If you really do, then don't waste your money on college.

do u know what a pa even is? they are not a dr's assitant! they can write scripts in 48 states (and i am not gunna live in ohio or indiana so tis not an issue) and preform physical exams, they work in hospitals, and private practices and are a growing need in the medical community as many dr's can not be in 2 places at once(who really can) so pa's are needed to preform in there place. a pa's starting salery is 50,000 and usualy goes up to high or mid 60,000's and u NEED college to be a pa and i plan on going for the masters(all those schools have great masters programs)

o i forgot to add my ec's dance since i was 3 years old, key club 10th-12th, national honor society, private voice and piano all during high school, band, chours, choral, choir (i love to sing can u tell?) hudson valley youth chorale 9th-10th (got to sing with with the vienna boys choir i grew out of the hvyc unfortunetly :( i play the bass clar, and the regular clar, iv dabbled in drums as well. dance is 3x a week and i sing in my church choir, i vulnteer at the local hospital during the summer 3x a week

yea but they dont get to do the fun stuff! nursing just never called to me for sum reason i know they are of course a very intergral part of the medical world and i vulttenteer on a hospital floor thats basically run by nurses and they are awsome but i feel the need to carrey around a stethoscope lol
