What do the motivated high schoolers of CC do with their weekends? I feel like doing something else other than preparing for school/standardized tests over the weekends. It's as if I'm confined to a jail, but I guess that's what being a junior means. :(

I considered myself pretty motivated, and as for weekends I usually spend them with my friends. Sunday is the day when I do all my homework. I actually haven’t studied for a standardized test since I can’t get myself to do it, but most likely that will come back to bite me is the ass later.

finishing calc homework :)

enjoying spring break, worrying about chemistry olympics, codingb

Debating whether or not I should do my four page AP Lit paper that was due Friday.

Working on a biology project, binging on Tostidos, listening to music, figuring out when I’m gonna actually start studying…

I always hate the week before spring break - it’s so crazy and teachers try squeezing in any assignment/test/project/paper they can.

Enjoying my computerr!

I am currently reading up on Italian Fascism - the best way to kick off spring break! :)

SPRING BREAK!!!

Wasting time on CC when I should be reading The Awakening.

I go to college class on Saturday mornings, volunteer one Saturday a month for four hours a time, and study/do homework the rest of the time.

Spring Break! :)

Well right now I’m putting off a paper. I put the pro in procrastination.

^I’m right there with you.

Cleaned out my entire closet, put together resume for Rush, looking up recs for said Rush…err. Hopefully going to get started on AP prep tomorrow :/

pro…crastinating

Spring break procrastination of my AP English, anatomy, and AP Euro homework. I have a whole week to do it and will get done with it…next Sunday night.

Weekends, hmmm.
On Fridays, I often have some appointment. When I arrive home, I go to bed early. Around 10:30, but sometimes 9:00. If I’ve been really sleep deprived, as soon as I get home.
On Saturdays, I go to work from 9-11. We don’t really do anything. Then I come home, mess around. Sometimes play Sims for a bit, but I don’t have much time. If I need to choreograph, I do so, but I’m done now. Then I go to ballet at 1:30. Until about 5:00.
Sometimes I go to the mall afterward. Usually, I just screw around on the computer and read.
On Sundays, I do homework. A lot of homework. And whatever must needs be done. For example, as I’m just coming off spring break, I don’t have that much HW. I do, however, need to sew new pointe shoes. So I’ll do that. And I have another sewing project too. But the big project is with a machine. And I’ve already sewed for 1.5 hours, so I don’t really feel like doing anymore.

AP Studying. Plus I’m bored and got nothing else to do and I have to do an essay for AP English.

How about during a normal school weekend? What do you do other than avoiding homework?

Oh socially. Well my weekends are all pretty much the same. One night I go out to eat and do a mildly cultured activity with the lady friend and the other night I hang out with my friends. That’s mostly driving around doing random things. I guess they get kinda old sometimes.
