So what are YOU doing in your APs classes now?

In my most of my classes, we're playing card games, dominoes (which is strangely addicting) and DDR. Fun stuff. However, my Lit teacher is making us read two more books and write a paper (even if it is not that big of a paper). I was just wondering how many of you actually have class after your AP exams??

we're watching movies, doing ecosystem stuff (collecting data at the park) and really fun labs, Chem teacher is making us do Organic stuff (not that I mind really) and we have a project for english, and in Stats we are applying what we learned in stats to do stuff like figure out how many licks it actually takes to get to the center of a lollypop...

Yeah.. AP world.. our teacher's still making us take notes.. and we got a paper to write too >.< no fair =( I wanted a blowoff class after APs lol

It took me 403 licks to get to the center... tell me if that was right whenever ya'll are done w/the experiment XD

for eng lit, we're doing "film as literature"
basically, we watch movies and then analyze the crap outta these films
currently, we're watching american beauty...we are alo assigned into groups so we can bring food for class

for calculus, we're watching boring videos on CALCULUS...
starting thursday, we're going to review for our final T____T

for ap phys, we're going to have a final and a project.....sigh

***!

videos on calculus? @.@ Must be fun lol

ap euro = we're reading the da vinci code, lmao + analyzing all the "historical" components. READ: having raging debates about whether jesus was married or not

ap chem = doing some qualitative analysis lab. pretty neat, we're gonna all get our own premade "complex ions", and kinda work in a college atmosphere where we get to go in whenever (during class, before/afterschool, lunch) and test them with various tests to figure out what are in each tube... something like that, haha =] our big year-end project.

physics = going to amusement park to test homemade kinetics thingys! "physics day" :)

So you guys have finals? We don't, which is why I think actually learning after the APs is quite ridiculous.

Yuck, Calc videos. :(

it took me 720...but i am an outlier...or at least that's what they keep telling me...we've decided that girls have weaker spit than guys b/c the guys always finished theirs more quickly...

we don't really have to take finals (except in Dual classes) and we always have exemptions...so yay...and sr. exams are over next week anyway...

haha interesting theory...in bio we're watching videos and doing labs, like our own DNA fingerprinting

in US were watching movies til the end of the year. now were watching good night and good luck

we just finished The Great Gatsby...really disturbing rendidtion of it...esp. when the lady gets run over and her leg falls off....but still...it is better than reading half a chapter a night

Seniors in my school were done classes yesterday. So the two class days we had after the AP English Lit exam were spent talking about our term papers that we just got back, and about what we did over the year.

Most of you guys are so lucky. For my AP English Lit class I have to design a 100 minute oral presentaion on why Catch 22 is a major 20th century novel. I also have to do three essay's for the final.

For AP Statistics we are still taking tests and learning new stuff ever day. Only three more weeks of school left though so it is almost over.

Computer Science AB: Not sure; probably nothing.
Biology: Project, but supposedly a blow-off.
Calculus BC: Learn how to make a resume & other college crap (we're all juniors)
US Government: Project.

oh, how lucky you guys are!!!!!!!!!!!

AP Chem ---- making video, and Scavenger project
AP Calculus ----- we will be assigned couple questions from each section of Calculus AB exam, and present them to the Class
AP Eng ---- research paper and read play in class

Amer Gov: Apparently nothing.
Bio: Final test on Eco next week.
Calc: Back to work now with a quiz and test. On what, I don't know.

We don't have finals after the AP test, yet my Spanish teacher persists in making us do crap. We have to watch Don Quixote, which means my teacher will attempt to interrupt the story to tell us the philosophical underlying elements as though we couldn't understand literature. What infuriates me more is that we have a test on Monday over the movie because "some kids in our class need the grade."
Oh, and my Calc teacher might make me take a test on indefinite integrals, which will be easy, but stupid for the principle of the matter nonetheless.
Other than that, I have basically nothing to do. My schedule consists of AP Lit, AP Spanish, AP Calc, AP Gov't, Directed Studies, AP Euro, and Physics Honors (I really wished I could have taken AP, but I'll just take it in college).

Stats = watching ppl get pulled over.
Physics = Either chapter on modern or something, lots of movies, weird convos, paper airplanes.
Calc = A really really long lunch period, Im going to try to learn some linear algebra for next year.
CS = making a go fish applet, maybe a monopoly one too.

bio: taking apart owl pellets and making the rat remains and hatching chicks
world: review for CST, watch a ton of rated r movies

Physics B: Working on graded project which is to make a solar-powered go kart.

Computer Science A : Working on the answers to the questions on the AP exam.. We meet twice a week..
