Since about 10 this morning....CB decided to throw out all the mathematics involved in AP Physics B, C E&M, and C Mechanics, and has restructured the courses to test only the history of major developments in Physics....
Notice I put the AP in parentheses, it's title is "AP Science Research" as you do science research for AP sciences...it's not a class that one receives extra gpa points for nor is there an accompanying AP exam, it's a fun little research class that you get to come to school for at 6:40 am everyday...

^extra credit?

sniff is that grade inflation i smell?

haha lol, j/k. you're lucky. i hate the way my teachers grade AP classes, they won't even curve tests let alone give extra credit

If it's not directly related to your intended major in college, I wouldn't recommend it at all.

There are several other APs you can take that carry just as much weight, like Environmental, Bio, Macro, etc. looking back, I should have just opted for one of those. But everyone said it was the hardest class in the school, therefore my parents automatic response was "Take it."

However... if you think you have a pretty good handle on Chemistry (I thought I did, I got As in Chem GT???), I guess it always looks good to colleges if you can challenge yourself.

hows AP bio? some of my friends say its mad hard, atleast with our teacher, is it a bad idea to just take it for funsies?

AP Art History - A
IB English - A
IB Psychology - A
IB Spanish - A
IB Biology - A
Chemistry - A
PreCalc - B (Got a D on the final. VERY LUCKY!)
GPA: 3.86

All in all, very awesome. I was honestly expecting a 3.3 =)

AP Bio's the easiest AP I've ever taken, nonetheless, I don't know how much weight my perspective carries as I am a Sophomore who's only taken AP Bio, Calc BC, and Physics B & C....

You guys get semesters...which essentially gives you guys plenty of time to raise your grades up...at my school we have quarters..which could work to your advantage or disadvantage. :(
