SO what are

Your teachers like?

Like, what classes do you have a good teacher in?And were happy to have them this year?

What classes do you have a not so great teacher in? That you wish you didn't have this year?

The teachers this year weren't really teachers. All they do is give us assignments to read out of a book and do a worksheet afterward. They're basically just babysitters.

I think the only teachers that actually taught this year was my math, english, and civics teachers.

My english teacher was nuts..we had food parties every other day

food parties????????

Yea thats what we called them. I guess you could call it a "pot luck" but every kid would bring in food then we'd play screw you neighbor

screw your neighbor??????

card game...dont you know anything??? :p

Apparently no,I don't.

Interesting card game.....I'll have to learn that one ;)

I had the best english teacher on year. He let us do whatever we wanted. He brought in movies for us to watch, bought two kids iPods, taught us how to download things illegally, brought in video games for us to play, and threw a party for a different kid each week, and so on. Only the only downside is that no one learned anything, so we had to retake a few tests because the class average was very low.

I had really, really good teachers this year.

My Spanish teacher was excellent, I learned a lot of Spanish for one year. I really don't like my orchestra teacher, but I can't deny that he's an amazing musician. For business, eh, those classes are just fill-ins. But since I knew the teacher, even though I wasn't in DECA all year, he made me parlimentarian for next year. Health, I had one student teacher (he was okay) and then another (TERRIBLE), but the actual teacher was pretty good. My chemistry teacher was excellent. She was annoying in class, but a good teacher. She really was a very interesting woman outside of class, though. (She had a human fetus IN A JAR.) English, I LOVED my teacher. She was crazy and fun, and I joined the club that she advises. World history teacher was a genius. Quite old, nice, knew a lot of information about his subject. My italian teacher is very strict, but I learned so much this year and she took us to Italy. I'm looking forward to class with her for the next 2 years. And my math teacher was just awesome. Really funny, good teacher, made math not as boring as it is usually and I didn't hate it as much.

I can only hope that next years teachers are just as good!

I can say I had some pretty decent teachers this past year. My Algebra II teacher was amazing; I learnt so much in her class! It was my second year with her (I had her last year, too), and I'm so sad she won't be at the school next year! My Italian Language teacher was purely amazing. She had such a great attitude about everything, and way always smiling. She opened up many doors for me, and I appreciate everything she did for me. My Creative Writing/Journalism/English teacher was great, too. She really encouraged me to write more, and thanks to her, I can say I'm a pretty "decent" writer now, lol. My Italian Humanities teacher was pretty great, too. She was like our mother most of the year. If we didn't have lunch, she would gladly share hers. In regards to her teaching, it wasn't bad. She definitely knows what she's talking about, but she's pretty tough on us. I love her though. My Health teacher was great, too. I had her for Bio last year, and will have her again next year for AP Bio. She's a surgeon, so she really knows her stuff. I love it how she integrates her own life experiences with the material she's teaching. It makes such a significant difference.

Now, on to Chemistry. All the teachers would quit on us. We started out with a man who barely spoke English. (You know you're from Miami when your chemistry class is taught in Spanish, lol). He quit. We had this really young girl (who barely spoke English, lol); she quit. Then we had a subsitute for about a month, then the girl who works in the office was our sub for a few weeks, and then we got Conchita. A Cuban who studied in Russia. She was a really good teacher (when she abandoned the English, and taught in Spanish, and didn't speak to us in Russian), but I hate chemistry, so ..yeah.

I've had most of these teachers for two years; I'm nervous about next year.

Why are those so long? You guys like to talk about your teachers a lot.

^^ haha, yes I do. No, I just have a lot to say about them.

The only really good teacher I had this year was my LA teacher. He really loved teaching, which always makes the class more interesting.

My history teacher just told us stories all the time, usually completed unrelated to what we were supposed to be learning. He gave loads of extra credit a couple times for going on field trips and missing school.

My alg. II teacher was both new and didn't really know what she was doing. She was nice but not very enthusiastic.

My chem teacher yelled at us all the time. She'd get so mad that it scared everyone, especially when someone messed up a lab.

I had a amazing math teacher she was cool!! and she was so close to my age it was funny we had so much in common same thing w/ my english spanish and art teachers(all new teachers just out of or a yr or 2 out of college)

Oh my worst teacher threw books at me for making fun of her (although I never even spoke during class). She also broke a ruler on my desk (she was aiming for my hand). She would be like "Can you please answer the question sweetie??" and I'd be like "uhh...which one??" and then she'd go "JUST ANSWER THE FREAKIN' QUESTION RIGHT NOW!!!" and throw something at me. Bipolar probably. She sent me a nice xmas card tho.

I have had absolutely awesome teachers! My Lit & History teachers are definitely the greatest. I loved their class-- it's a double period both lit & history (but never at the same time! One thing at a time is their philosophy!) & it was never dull! My geometry teacher was great, very smart, helpful & actually pretty funny. And you weren't bad at math, you had 'faulty algebra skills'. French was great, she's a good teacher (absent half the year though!) Bio teacher let us do whatever, which was good & bad. It was funny if anything (we'd have the most interesting conversations in there!) And Composition always got interesting, especially when the one guy would keep winning his wrestling meets- resulting in a pop quiz! (He eventualy won states & to celebrate we had a test!) But our teacher was fun-- she vacuumed the floor during class one morning!!
Ok, I have said enough about my teachers, even though they are great!
