So, what do you do when the power goes out?

Yeah, it was sorta funny a bunch of lights and other various things went on a little before midnight. I was the only person still awake.

And what did I do when the power came back? I went on CC, that's what.

I go and hang out with friends and play games or go downtown. Even without power, downtown is fun.

umm, we never have power outages....

Last time I had a power outage was when the hurricanes hit in Jacksonville. They weren't bad and since my house is so close to a JEA power station, the power was out no longer than several hours.

I just decided to go outside and my dad even took me to the beach when there were raging winds. It was quite fun, actually.

watch TV duh

Wow I read this topic yesterday saying I can't even remember the last time I had a power outage and believing I wouldn't have one for a lonng time and what do you know? The power goes out for like 10 minutes, concidence?

Our power actually hadn't gone out since 2003. So, yeah.

(Major blackout--the one with grid problems in Ohio [I think]).

My power never goes out for longer than a half hour at a time, so I don't have a lot of experience with this. But usually I just stare out the window, because it's usually storming, and I love to watch storms.

I tend to form a closer relationship with my hand whenever I can't do much.

One of the reasons I love hurricane season is the power outages. I invested in a booklight during Katrina (I was in Alexandria and no where near the NO) and caught up on some reading. It was all quiet and peaceful. Then the TV came back on. :(

I've almost never had the power go out for more than a fews minutes or so, except for that NYC blackout a couple of years ago. I don't even remember what I did.

But my siblings and I scream really loudly until my parents tell us to shut up if there are any blackouts.

patiently wait for the Boogeyman
