So.. What do you love about Johns Hopkins?

Share everything! :)

And what type of person do you think fits Johns Hopkins the most?

Jeez… that’s a question with too many answers!

I love the people here - there’s a group for everyone. A lot of my friends are international students so it’s really interesting to get a unique perspective from people around the world. It’s interesting how their childhood experiences were so different from mine - and it’s cool to see what traditions/trends/phrases are “American” and which aren’t. I remember when it was DST I used the phrase “Spring forward, Fall back” and none of my international friends knew it (fun fact? haha).

I like that people know how to balance their academic and social lives. It’s great that people care about their school work, but still know how to have fun at the same time. There’s a group of people at Hopkins for everyone, which makes it difficult to pinpoint one specific “type” of person that fits Johns Hopkins the best.

Honestly, I consider going to SOHOP to see if you fit JHU - you’ll know if you do or not. I knew when I first stepped on campus that Hopkins was the school for me.

Alright hopkid, I have a question… what do you really not like about Hopkins? That’s important too.

Yep, that is important. Honestly, there is nothing major that I dislike about Hopkins. There are some little things that bother me - like the fact that late night dining at the the freshman cafeteria (at the FFC from 9pm - 12pm) is not open on weekends, when students need it most!

But when it comes to my classes, my professors, my dorm, my peers, and Hopkins as a whole, I really don’t have any complaints. I know that a lot of people aren’t too happy about the lack of school spirit when it comes to sports besides lacrosse, but for me, that’s not a big deal.

If you check out [Hopkins Interactive | Home](http://www.hopkins-interactive.com/) two students per day are writing a survey-style blog where they respond to the same questions; one of them is asking what you would change about Hopkins. You can always look at that for more opinions.
