So What Do you think about this...

I go and see my counselor to tell her that I just got into Texas A&M (not surprised) and she tells me that Emory said I didn't send them my January SAT scores, which aren't even required. I took the SATs in January and sent them priority, but apparently they didn't recieve and my counselor said she sent it to them because they were trying to make a decision on me. How did they even know that I took the January SATs if it didn't get to them. I would think they would just use my old SAT scores if it didn't get to them. It is already late March. Why would they bother with my new SAT scores when it says clearly that only accept scores up to the December scores?

Maybe they are leaning toward a yes, perhaps. I don't know. I guess I have to wait and see. I hate anticipating.

Well, that is surely a bizarre circumstance. The biggest being they somehow knew you took the January test, weird. But hmmm, did you perhaps only take them once, perhaps checking if they were a fluke, and how strange that they still have not received the scores, check with college board on that one. Really, just a conglomerate of strange occurrences.

The January sitting was my third time.

Did you write on your application that you would be taking them in January? Most applications say to list tests you have taken or WILL take.

I don't think so because I turned in the same common app to several schools and did not list I was taking January SATs.
