P.S. Great test scores and good grades, okay rank for Ivies, but you didn't list your ECs, so it's kind of tough to rank you for the Ivies as a result. (Need at least a regional award for admission to Penn and Columbia. A national award of some type (or a finalist) might get you into Princeton and Yale).

Good luck.

I did list my ECs...

What kind of "awards" are we talking, here?

I could throw National Merit Commended Student (NY), AP Scholar with Distinction, Nat'l Honor Society, various subject honor societies in there also. That kinda stuff? Or some extra significant competition of some sort...

Thanks for the input!

Bump.......

yeah throw that stuff in there too. Ur stats are pretty amazing and make me jealous lol. I ask everyone this question though but what are u really passionate about?

Well, thanks, comparing myself with some ridiculous people on here gets me a little crazy I guess.

The passion thing makes me nervous because it is difficult for me to select one thing that I really am into most. I am pretty well-rounded, and though I definitely believe that is what is best in life, not sure if that is so in college admissions.

Thanks

ur right about being well-rounded in life, but for college admissions they want to see that ur really passionate about something. Find out what that is, show that u have invested a lot of time into it, and u'll be fine

i really think u should take the iic as well

Really? I mean, I guess it's too late now... 750 is 95th %tile, but I guess I could have probably done better on the Math II (Math I has some sort of extreme curve?)

Ah, well.

^i think some of your schools (Yale?) require 3 (in which case the math should prob. be level ii), but the other 2 are very impressive regardless...
