what does your degree say when your a transfer student to ANY school?

I hear some Say Junior Transfer on it.. Is that frowned upon by other , and when looking for jobs?

Like If I Transferred into Columbia Junior year and If (Because I don't Know what Degree's say Cause I don't Have one yet) It say Junior Transfer and I go for a job and the other person was a Full blown 4 year Columbia student would they pick the other person based on that?.

School was Just an example.. relax to those that get all umm Antsy on here lol

It may say that, I don’t know but honestly it doesnt matter what your degree says from a top school, that’s why alot of school make you take at least half your credits at their institution to graduate, to prevent people getting the name last year. I HIGHLY doubt its ever going to come down to how many years you attended Columbia haha…

It’s the terminal school’s name that is on your degree, how you got there is of no importance.

Your diploma will only have the name of the college/university that you graduate from.

Your final transcript will show that you were a transfer student because the credits that transferred will be recorded differently than the credits you earned there. Some potential employers that require copies of your transcripts will ask for a copy of the transcript from your first college/university in addition to the copy from your final one. Every college/university you apply to in the future will need both sets.

The alumni association at your first school may consider you a member whether or not you completed your degree there. This can be a good thing because you might get invited to twice as many alum events, and you will have access to more than one network when it comes to job hunting. Just be sure to wear the correct sweatshirt or school colors when you attend!
