So, what foreign languages are you taking?

Yup, this thread is exactly what the title says: What foreign languages, if any, did you all sign up for? I remember a thread a few weeks ago about foreign languages; what did you end up taking?

I wanted Chinese 001 but even with 2nd window, it was completely full by then.

Italian! What about you?

I chose Hindi 1

I'm taking Japanese! I just figured this would be a nice way to maybe meet other people from the same classes, on the off chance that we might meet someone on CC. Grinz

Spanish 114S. 101 was full right away and I had the third window. This way I will be able to get my Spanish and seminar done at the same time.

i'm taking chinese 35!

I'm taking chinese 35 also

yay, we might be classmates!

if anybody is interested in taking hebrew...do it. it's a guaranteed A (in the begining and intermediate levels). no matter what your proficiency is, you WILL get an A. it's also quite an interesting language - but more importantly, A!

ssorman, how can you take a language just for the grade instead out of overwhelming love?

ps. i'm taking hebrew

pps. you influenced my decision

ppps. you're a champ man / gal? call me

haha. no problem. you'll find that when you take something you love and get a "C" for the 1st time in your life (as is the case for many duke students...) you'll change your tune and take some easier classes. at least that's how i felt. and i'm a guy, hence ssorMAN.
