Collegeboard says the average score for each section is around 500 but almost everyone on this site says they got like 700 on each section. Is my 1720 a really low score then? I thought it was decent at first but after seeing everyone else's scores it doesn't seem like that anymore... So how did everyone get scores that were so high?

“Good” is subjective, and it really depends on where you want to go to college.

IMO, typically the people who go to this site, especially the ones who post a whole lot are very smart and are concerned about getting into college. Many people who participate in CC forums are applying to the toughest of schools in our country.

A 1720 is by no means a bad score, it may seem low compared to many of CC’s posters. You must realize that all the people who took the test aren’t represented here on CC though.

^^ That is very true. I myself am one of the people who is trying hard to get into one of the toughest schools as well, but unfortunately I am not up to par like most CCers.

Twenty for handred

Ohhhh okay I see now. Thanks!

If you can’t get AT LEAST a 2100 you’re simply ■■■■■■■■. Jk

I meant to say that if can’t get AT LEAST 2390, then your stupid.

Thinks about that last statement and then looks at my score I am stupid. Wha!!!

Anything above the national average which is about a 1500
