2iron I loved your response..........a throwback in time. I think every kid should take some much needed "down time" to enjoy their family, friends and their home.....all the things that have so helped each of you to grow into the very successful kids that you obvioulsy are. There is much to be said for not having much of a plan at all and just winging it, something that we so rarely get to do with such a hectic pace that we all keep up. Some of your plans sound absolutely wonderful, I love the one who said she will wait around at the airport waiting for a great travel opportunity, I backpacked through Europe at 18 with 3 other girls and up until now, in all my 51 years of life, it is by far the best experience I have ever had (except of course for having my 3 wonderful kids) :)

I'm leaving for Europe with two of my really good friends six days after graduation. We're going through Paris, southern France, Lake Como, the Bernese Oberland, and Amsterdam before one of the guys leaves. Then me and my remaining compadre are trekking down through Germany and into Prague and Vienna. Then he leaves and I'm going to continue down through Croatia, Montenegro, and possibly Kosovo (depending on whether it is safe or not) before returning to Paris and flying home. I'm so excited! It's going to be absolutely amazing.

After that I'm coming home and spending my last month before college wakeboarding, partying with my buddies, and just enjoying the last remnants of my childhood!

I'm hoping to get a job in a pharmacy so I can have work experience. The rest of the time I will be working at my family business and hopefully I will get to go somewhere nice for vacation.

A nice, healthy combination of working and having fun =) I'm excited.

I'm going to the Olympics! Before that I might be going on a cruise and when I'm home I'll probably just run around Manhattan going to shows and spend time with friends before we all get separated for college =(

Cruise to Caribbeans and then Beijing for Olympics!

I wish I could go to the Olympics. I considered doing that, but having no money, that option's out.

So, I want to get a job at a Japanese restaurant as soon as I get my license in April.

Classic, that sounds AMAZING!! Oh to be young, footloose and fancy free.........
