Is it going to be a some mind boggling or is just going to be an ordinary envelope with "CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ACCEPTANCE...". Also do they mail you a free sweatshirt/hoodie or t-shirt or anything of that sort. Thanks...Greatly appreciated.

the actual stuff they mail to you is pretty nice. nicer than all the other UC’s.

it’s a blue folder with gold printing, and in it is your congrats letter and a ton of information brochures and a bumper sticker. lol.

haha you posted the same question on the UVA forum…and UCLA doesn’t give out sweatshirts either. Sorry!

Haha yeah I pretty much posted it on the forums of every school I applied.

oh. Just curious, do any schools actually do that? I applied all over the place, and never ever heard of them sending gifts (because for most places that would mean sending out about 6,000 sweatshirts to kids when over half of them won’t even end up attending).

Yale sends free t-shirts to those accepted

^ that makes me want to get accepted even more :(

^to Yale? 10char

Interesting. I remember when I got my acceptance in the mail, it was The Small Envelope with one sheet of paper inside. If I hadn’t checked my status online beforehand, I would have thought it was a rejection letter.

well it makes sense for yale cause they admit one person per year lol

yes to yale.

Good luck then!
