So, what now?

I'm a freshman considering transferring.

HS Stats:
Rank 25/245
GPA 3.35 unweighted, 4.3 weighted
SAT: 1480 (800v 680m)
SAT 2s: W: 700, MIC:630, WH: 680
ECs: Band (french horn/section leader), Debate team captain, Scholastic Scrimmage captain, Science Olympiad medalist at districts, NHS. Leo Club (service club)

(Note that ECs were offered very unevenly because my district split the high schools and most of teh teachers stayed at the old school -- Science O was only offered my senior year, Debate from junior year on)

I was accepted to my two safties, an itty bitty Top 100 LAC in the middle of nowhere(< 1500) and a gigantic super-urban state school (25k+). I decided to go to the LAC (because of a very nice scholarship), but as the semester winds down I feel like I really can't stay here.

I'm very disconected from the social scene (seems everything revolves around drinking), bothered by the apathy and lack of intellectualism around campus, and course offerings in my areas of interest (PoliSci and Philosophy)

I know things might get better second semester, but I plan on putting in some applications in for fall 2006. I'm looking for schools that's not huge (medium-sized or medium-small), either urban or with easy access to an urban area, and with solid departments in the liberal arts. (Obviously not every school I consider will fit every criteria, but that's sort of the general idea)

I'm expecting a GPA for the semester between 3.5-3.7, any suggestions?

Currently I've been considering Brown, Bryn Mawr, and Wesleyan. I'd like some suggestions for some other schools and if the ones I'm listing are reasonable.
