<p>I really have no idea. Is there anything to be done right now?<br>
I haven't written any essays, filled anything out, etc. Some people are on this forum are making me feel like I haven't done anything :P</p>

<p>Narrow down your list to the colleges you want to apply to.</p>
<p>Then start writing their essays in your spare time. If you can do even a quarter of the essays you need before school starts, you are way ahead of the game.</p>

<p>It depends on the college.</p>
<p>If common app essays change, they don't change much from year to year, and as far as I know, there is always a "create your own topic", so if you are applying via common app, dive right in! It'll make the fall so much easier if you at least start thinking about it and getting things down on paper now, even if you don't finish them.</p>
<p>I think one of my schools wants a common app (Northwestern). How do I get started?</p>
