<p>Aside from the clear admits, I think they will be more conservative initially until they have an idea of what the rest of the application pool is like.</p>
<p>Suppose a scenario where UMich is someone’s safety. Consider that the applicant has a 2400 SAT and an 800 in 3 Subject Tests (with a great GPA). Would he/she receive an admission response before someone in the mid 25%-75%?</p>
<p>Not necessarily Sandro, it depends on who is making the decision. Like most universities, Michigan has admissions officers that are assigned different regions. Some regions are much busier than others and therefore require more time.</p>
