<p>I don't think it's immature, I think it's just a way to have fun and de-stress from school. That said, I wasn't dressed up during the day except for the kid's carnival I went to, but I have no problem with people who do/did unless they were really weird costumes that are better left to the evening hours. (seriously, do you really need to be a skanky hogwarts witch when you ARENT at a party trying to get hit on?)</p>

<p>My friend and I were dogs and our other friend was Michael Vick. We walked around and he had a rolled up newspaper he'd hit us with then we'd fight for him.</p>

<p>halloween is a huuuge deal at my school--50,000 people (seriously!) from colleges all over the state come to campus to celebrate on our main street, which is totally closed down for the night to accomodate the thousands of absolutely hammered people..</p>

<p>i was a ballerina (cute & not overly skanky..)</p>

<p>I sneaked my school's mascot uniform out of the top secret locker room only known to know AD and the original mascot, but before I dressed up I took a couple of shots and downed a few beers. Darn thing was extremely hard to walk in the entire night.</p>
