So,...What'd you get (October SAT 09)

i got

R: 540
M: 770
W: 570

omgggg i just don’t understand Englishhhh

Wow! What was your secret??!! My daughter went up 40 pts. total. And that means improving in some areas, but going down somewhere else.

So, did you do something different this time to increase your scores so much? Study more? Use other study methods?

My daughter is almost positive she’s going with her ACT, regardless. But, it would be nice if she could take the SAT a third time and come out with a much higher score like you. Congratulations!

im pretty happy. Im not taking it again, thats for sure.

@2Leashes - I dont know if this is the case for everyone, but i think i just got smarter as time went on. I actually took a month of SAT classes before the first time i took it and i dont think it helped me that much. I think people over time just accumulate more knowledge, and just gradually get better scores. I know this isnt always the case, and studying always helps, but I think alot of improvement comes just from continuing to go to school and what not.

my daughter was one of the ones whos oct sat scores were delayed. but i found them on the SENT scores report as pending. not sure why they are there and not on the scores page. but they definitely show up there as pending submission to the colleges she has chosen to receive them along with her previous scores.

2360

m: 800
w: 800 (78/80, 11)
cr: 760

previously in jan I got:

cr:590
m:680
w:720

now I got

cr:690
m:730
w:720

I did okay right??? I am so happy with my cr score!!!

Congrats Pikagrue!

Your png looks unedited to me, but if it is a fake, then congrats there too; it is very well done :)

Well done, congrats everybody. You feel no shame posting your 2250s and 2300s while I(the creator of this thread) don’t receive my scores at all.
Just joking, but really congrats. Although I do admit I feel a bit uneasy looking at the scores you guys posted.

Anyway, does anybody have any idea why my scores got delayed. I took it in Ethiopia, that is probably the reason. Plus, no student in my school (who took the SATs with me) received his score.

If anybody knows when these scores might arrive (college board said Nov 3 yesterday but I guess they changed their mind cause it says Nov 6 today). When is the real date. And if there is anyone here who is in the same predicament I’m in, shout me a holler.

Oh yeah, plus is there any chance at all, AT ALL for the scores to arrive early like tomorrow. or the day after tomorrow, it doesn’t even matter. I just don’t like fixed dates. A hint of spontaneity doesn’t hurt anybody. Ciao

thought I had 1600 turns out to be 1760 instead
still, I’m not as smart as all you CCs over there! ><

My S got

CR: 740
M: 800
W: 800

I am sure he is done with SAT.

Had a pretty good score as a junior and almost didn’t take it again but decided to invest one last Saturday morning and am glad. 800 M, 800 CR, 770 W – but had a 790 W as a junior so now have a 2390 superscore fwiw. That should help the quantitative side of the apps.

Good luck to everyone!

Hmm…i got 740 CR, 800 math and 770 Writing (78/80) and 9 on my essay. im considering retaking due to the pathethic essay score and weak reading score. Don’t colleges focus mainly on CR, math and Essay? Should i retake? I’m still a junior as well

what is superscore?

great job Pikagrue!
I already had the 800 math,
Writing-740
Reading-700
I am actually happy with a 2240, is there something wrong with me???

First try, non-super scored:

2390.

O.O

Jeezums, I was SO not expecting that… but my mom was ecstatic about it.
Dad wasn’t sure what it meant. XD

CR: 550
Math: 770
Writing: 680 (MC: 68 Essay: 9)

Total: 2000

NO MORE SATs FOREVER! :)

DAMN ITTT!!! I wanted above a 2200!!!

690 CR
750 M
750 W

2190…my highest single sitting

Ima get rejected from the Ivy Leagues with this crappy score… :[

My super scored is a 2240 (with M 800 in the past)…but superscore is cheap…no one cares about superscore

2200
fairly happy

ahahahahahahah! All of you are ridiculous. It seems to me that EVERYONE on here improved in some way. Yeah, I WENT FREAKING DOWN IN EVERY SECTION. It makes me want to stab my eyes out.

March:
670 CR
650 M
640 W (10e)

October:

640 CR
580 M (***???)
620 W (10e)

I am WICKED upset. All I wanted to do was get over that 700 mark, but no- failure pursued and I went down over 100 points. My math score is covered in shame.
