So what's been your worst class this year?

I'll get back to you later with what my worst class is.

world history. love the subject, hate the professor and the fact that it’s at 8am.

Honors Writing. I have learned a lot from the class, but he always seems to have papers due at the worst possible times and he is a harsh grader. Oh well only 2 more weeks of it!

Introduction to Principles of Literary Analysis. Found it way different from what I thought it would be and regret taking it.

Art History. Easiest class to space out in because of monotone professor. I can go to class and walk out with zero notes written. And, IMO the tests are weighted too much on memorizing meticulous names and dates, instead of actual art and style, which is more substance to me.

Multicalc :D

Music in the Romantic Era. Such a snooze… I never knew I could fall asleep to opera…

media law (journalism school req)–on the first day we were informed that 80% of those who fail the course are sophomores. all sophomores were then advised to drop the class immediately (i didn’t). recently, the professor told us that if you could get an A in her class you could most likely find the cure for cancer.

which naturally makes me really want that A haha…

physics because its 8AM
and chem lab because we’re doing labs from advanced chemistry and it doesnt correlate to our lecture

Physics! I seriously and utterly despise physics in the most god awful way imaginable.

Phys 2A, Waves and Quantum mechanics, no contest. Terrible class, terrible book, poorly taught and organized. The first half on waves was bearable, but when we hit quantum it just got pathetically bad. Why is this a Core requirement for my school?

Phonetics…

History… I’m in it now… dying of boredom… I’ll be lucky if I end up with a B for the course after Thursday’s final (for which I have zero notes).

honors government. too much reading

cs 225 data structures. 7 mps. weekend ruiner

Ecological Issues. Its way too intro level and I’m not learning anything.

That’d have to be a tie between my required expository writing class and Human Evolution, an anthro class. The writing class is absolutely useless, teaches me how to write “familiar exploratory” and “reckoning” essays rather than things I can use for real classes, and the professor is so annoying, she makes me want to pull my hair out. My anthro class is getting to me because I understand all the material but can’t get a decent grade on the ridiculously difficult and specific exams. I can’t wait for this semester to end!

Defendant’s Right. Love the subject matter, and the prof seems nice enough. But it seems like class is just an oral review of the required reading. And frankly, I fail to see the value in that.

Genetics. Bleh. I’m not at all a science person. It’s interesting enough, it just happens to fall right when I’d love to take a nap the most…

Child Psychology. It was great until my prof went on maternity leave halfway through the semester–but then we got an adjunct. She’s soooooooo annoying. The first day, all she did was show us pictures of her daughter and talk about all her connections to my college (she didn’t even graduate from here, by the way). From then on, the class was one big story about how she was the best parent in the world, etc. So BORING. She was zero help, and we’ve had to learn the material completely on our own. Only one more class with her to go, hooray!
