So What's wrong with Marks Tower?

Are the rooms really that small? Is it really that hot? Are there ping pong tables, tennis courts around? Why is it grouped with Trojan Hall and Mark's Hall?

it’s basically the same type of environment as pardee tower

It’s a dorm. All dorm rooms are small. Welcome to college.

It’s an older building. Older buildings insulate heat. When it gets hot in LA, it gets hot inside in non-air conditioned buildings. Even my house far away from USC now gets up upstairs when the temperature is above 80 degrees outside. That’s just how things work. The other dorms without AC get hot, too! Like I said, bring a fan and you’ll be OK. Do you have something against fans?

It’s grouped with those buildings because they’re all sort of connected on the ground floor.

There are common rooms in Pardee, Marks and Trojan Hall with TVs, couches, tables, pianos and ping pong tables. You are free to use them.

Marks is more comparable to Pardee since they’re the towers and Trojan Hall and Marks Hall are ground level. Marks people seem to be pretty happy about it. There’s a pool table in the lobby and one in the study area, as well as a piano. The only ping pong tables I’ve seen are at Arts and Humanities. Tennis courts are all the way across campus closer to Parkside.
