Nothing creepy. Any specific theme going on or is it a plethora of randomness? :) Share with us and maybe give those who will be remodling their rooms in the future some inspiration.

I recently redid mine from bland white walls and clashing bedsheets to baby blue walls and matching blue-green comforters. Nothing really fabulous but I love how it adds character. I think soft pastels are great room colors :}

at home i don’t have a room, i sleep in a pullout couch in the basement. it’s not that bad though- there’s a bathroom down there that’s basically mine, and the “bed” is right in front of a large flat screen tv [cable, wii, blu-ray player], and it’s secluded from the rest of my family [whose rooms are on the 2nd floor], which affords me some privacy. At school, it depends [room changes from year to year], but my theme is generally… idk. clever posters, floral bedspread, black futon with environmental slogans on the throw pillows, etc. basically just whatever. i do have a welcome mat and a coathook outside my door. idk, no theme really. just stuff i like.

white walls, black furniture, black leather bed, dark gray ruched satin duvet, ice blue carpets

“at home i don’t have a room, i sleep in a pullout couch in the basement.”

Buy a real mattress. You should easily be able to get a twin size one at a garage sale for $50 that’s far better than your pull out couch.

I’m also in the basement, tan carpet, white/blue walls, mattress, couple of tables, computer, tv, and a chair. A bit cluttered.

^there would be nowhere to put said mattress. i have a pullout couch [with a reasonably comfortable mattress and a thin foam topper] because there wasn’t enough room for my bed, which is currently in storage [also, i’m only at home 3 months out of the year].

My room looks disastrous. It’s really small because I live in a small apartment, but I have a mattress on the floor stacked on this fake mattress which is just a big flat wood box with cloth covering lol. I always wanted those beds that are really high and they roll. I also don’t have a comforter because I guess my parents don’t like them for some reason. I have this big beach towel as my blanket, which is not as bad as it sounds because it isn’t hot and my ideal room temperature is somewhere around 60 degrees. The wallpaper looks hideous because it only covers half the wall and it’s two different patterns. It looks like I took gift wrap and taped it on my wall in little squares. When I save enough money money I plan to buy a nice table and a chair(because I use the kitchen table chair lol) and maybe some decorative items like a cheap painting or some vases. My mother also tried to make my room look nice with plastic flowers in a Slurpee cup, which I really want to get rid of because it’s cluttering and it looks really lame. I have these two lamps and a dresser I got from the people next door who were moving to Hong Kong. We took about everything(they let us), except their bed which my mother wanted but my father said we didn’t have room. I have my textbook collection in a Ramen Cup Noodles bulk box on the floor. The whole house’s junk seems to all go into my room and I can’t take it out. But it’s not as bad you you might think because sometimes I think my room looks like a palace compared to some I’ve seen.

I also don’t have curtains, my mother tied string across the windows(at least they aren’t barred like they used to be) and draped cloth over but I think I’ll buy some curtains tomorrow and see if they work with my windows.

Blue walls, black furniture, US flag, military posters, and UF paraphernalia.
