<p>I asked my counselor about doing classes online or through a college or various other programs over the summer, and she said my school won’t accept summer classes to get ahead; Only people who failed and are making up credits are allowed to do such a thing… Apparently my school doesn’t want me to get ahead and be successful. Probably because none of them were, which is why they’re working a crappy job in a small, old, crappy, rural high school in the first place.</p>
