<p>The only issue is having to pay for housing in the summer if the student isn’t going to be in Ttown. I know you can cancel the summer contract for an internship or something of that sort, but I believe you still have to pay 1/2 of the cost, which is around $1000, far beyond my budget. That’s the reason I am reluctant to move there. Well, that and the fact that I don’t believe NM covers a 2 person, only a 3 person contract.</p>
<p>BTW, The Bluffs’ contract with the school (probably what Feenotype quoted) is much higher, and includes furniture, utilities, internet, etc, and a likely premium for going through the housing office. Given the prices, though, I’d avoid the Bluffs unless you’re on scholarship, in which case it’s a great deal.</p>
<p>As for returning to campus, I’ll be flying back on Monday. Sadly, I’ll miss some of the BCS championship in the process, though.</p>
