So when you're not in class, what do you do?

I've just been thinking...I realize there is so much more free time in college. I was wondering exactly what the typical student does with all of it? I understand some have work study, but when you're not in class what does one do? And do you find people to talk with during the day or is it solitary until the weekend parties? I really don't have a grasp on college life and I'd like some insight. I'm going to be a senior in high school this fall. Recently I've really been messing up on the social aspect of my life, and the way my year is looking I'm not anticipating truly enjoying my senior year. I want to have a fresh amazing start to college and really get involved and have people to have good times with. But mainly I just want to know what happens during a typical day and who a person is with or what they do when there is no class

I just use the outhouse.

Never live in the past but always learn from it.

Study, read, talk/eat/hang out with friends, do homework, go off campus, etc.

Do whatever you want; you have the freedom to do so in college.

There’s a lot to do- you shouldn’t find yourself bored too often. Besides, there’s always studying/homework to do.

Study, eat (especially all that time I spend in the dining hall just talking to friends long after we finish eating), party (generally Thursday-Saturday nights), walk to and from class, extracurricular activiites in student media and my sorority, Facebook stalk and check my email, and when time allots, sleep.

I don’t have much free time at school but I like it that way.

^That’s basically me as well.

Mostly a combination of work, study, eat, sleep, hang out with friends, and occasionally putz around on my first love, the internet. Sometimes I do three of these at the same time.

Nap, study, eat, hang out with other girls on my floor-- Three of us had a two hour break at the same time on MWF’s, and we’d grab a late breakfast then watch Fresh Prince episodes that were on TBS. I also hit them gym 5 or 6 days a week.

Damn Sparkles…

IM Sports, study, eat, sleep, student groups, Fifa

Not in that order though (Fifa is higher)

I hang out with my friends, I go to choir, I run cross country, surf the internet, go for walks.

There are so many different things to do. You’ll find ways to pass the time.

I kill people than plant them in my garden.

Meaning I play plants vs zombies religiously.

Sleep, homework, hang out with friends, during the week it’s more hanging out and making friendships, it’s more mellow. Work out, sports. On the weekend I rage.

Go to class, study, go back to my dorm to play PS3, repeat until graduation.

Plenty of time sucks in college.
The trick is avoiding them until all your work is done.

Studying, library, work, exercise and on the weekends I would chill…really there is more I could have done with my time but I didn’t so it doesn’t really matter.

Besides all the usual stuff, sometimes I’ll hop into my car and just drive around.

I can promise you that if you go to the various freshman orientation activities , you will meet people and hang out together and have a great time! Just don’t hang out in your room !

Im planning on playing xbox(halo, gears, nba, COD), on the computer, chilling with friends, going to friends dorm rooms and talking, going to the cafeteria and eating, play basketball, practice playing ball, sleep, hang out withfriends in my dorm, and lift at the weight room.

Lakerace that’s the best thing ever. Wish I had a car, only times I get to do that are when my dad’s out on a business trip and lets me borrow the car.

I usually practice bass, go to the gym, play video games and just browse the internet.

I would Nvr drive around in car for fun. Too expensive
