So I have a pretty unique situation. I was conscripted into the singapore military on Dec 2012 and now it’s 2015 and I recently got my SAT score. Currently, I have a 3.7 HS gpa, a 2260 SAT (highest sitting M790 CR680 W790), a 2280 SAT (super scored from earlier M700 CR700 W650), and not that many ECs.

My question is, what schools can I get into? What schools should I aim for?

My ECs aren’t that impressive. 2 years of men’s choir, one year of band, and ap music theory, so I can argue that I have an extensive music history. I’ve volunteered a bit in the Washington County Hours (20+ hours) and I’ve had quite a few odd jobs (peddler in Cambodia, retail assistant and cashier in Singapore, IT assistant in comgateway for about 3 months). I wonder how much my military experience would boost this area (2 years in SAF).

I’m also hoping to apply for colleges and enter them in January. Is it too late now? Also, how good are my chances to go into University of Washington, Seattle?

Heck, what scholarships can I qualify for?

I don’t know, if anyone could provide me with any advice that’d be nice.

ok well that is good. Admissions cycles start in the Fall for the following fall, you will be at a disadvantage and have more limited options if you are applying for Spring semester admissions. Your military service will be understood and should be a positive for your admissions.

If you are a resident of Washington State you should have a good chance of admission but some majors are very limited because of high demand. I’m not sure what they offer for WA residents as far as need aid and merit. Look at the aid pages. If you are not instate then don’t expect much of anything.

Ok well, what if I am an oregon resident? Also, are my stats for entry into udub state that low? Also, if I want to apply for spring term 2016 what is the deadline for that?
